A. Energy Audit and Savings Assessment : Carrano AirContracting Inc. or a qualified associate will carry out a Comprehensive Home Assessment (CHA) according to BPI Standards at the Customer’s residential property in order to assess energy consumption and operational characteristics of the property for the purpose of recommending energy conservation measures, improved operating procedures, alternative energy systems, and/or other energy related services in order to reducing the Customer’s energy consumption, expense, and overall environmental impact. The Customer agrees to provide cooperation throughout the process of CHA. Carrano AirContracting Inc. or our qualified associate will provide the Customer a written contract within 10 days of the date of the scheduled audit. The Audit will meet the following objectives: (1) An analysis of the property’s energy consumption (2) An physical audit of the property which will include a evaluation of the lighting, appliances, HVAC & Hot Water Heating equipment, building envelope, and operating procedures. (3) Estimation of approximate energy cost savings based on the review of the data obtained in the consumption analysis (1) and the CHA energy audit (2), (4) Provide a Scope of Work and installation cost contract for proposed energy conservation measures and Alternative energy systems. C. Records and Data The Customer will provide the most recent 12 months of utility billings for the property. If actual bills are not available, the Customer will assist Carrano AirContracting Inc. in obtaining this information from the utility suppliers. The Customer agrees to pay Carrano AirContracting Inc. or its associate, a deposit of $ 125.00 at the signing of this agreement. Carrano AirContracting Inc. and the Customer will be responsible only for such injury, loss, or damage caused by the intentional misconduct or the negligent act or omission of Carrano AirContracting Inc. or its agents. Carrano AirContracting Inc. and the Customer agree to indemnify and to hold each other, including their officers, agents, consultants, directors, and employees, harmless from all claims, demands, or suits of any kind, including all legal costs and attorney’s fees, resulting from the unintentional misconduct of their employees or any negligent act or omission by their employees or agents. The customer agrees to the scope of the audit and study, assisting to provide utility data, and to the payment terms, as described above.
